The MIR-Method®: self-healing at home

Some of the most gentle, lasting shifts come from what you give yourself, in your own space, at your own pace.

What is the MIR-Method®?

The MIR-Method® is a unique self-healing 9-step method that Mireille Mettes, a holistic therapist in the Netherlands, developed in 2009. "MIR" stands for "Mental and Intuitive Reset." "MIR" also means "peace" in Russian. Using the MIR method activates the self-healing powers of your body. It is touch-based, easy to do, and can be done by yourself in your own home.

Our body instinctively knows how to heal itself; we just need to provide the correct settings. This is how it goes.

  • Stroking the skin on our hands stimulates our parasympathetic nervous system, which helps us feel safe.

  • When the body receives the safety signals, we give it simple, clear instructions.

  • Because the body wants to heal and intuitively knows how to (given the optimum conditions), the body then does the rest.

For a deeper explanation, watch the full length instruction video below.

Who is it for?

The MIR-Method® is for anyone, including children and animals, who wants support with emotional, mental or physical challenges. It's equally suited to staying well and preventing problems before they start, and to simply relaxing and finding more peace of mind and heart.

It works by activating your body's own self-healing ability. It isn't a substitute for medical care and advice, but it does support your overall wellbeing.

The 9 step MIR-Method®

Below are the 9 commands we give to our body once we are relaxed - which is an optimum condition for our innate healing to activate.

  1. Optimise acidity

  2. Detox all toxicity

  3. Detach father. Detach mother.

  4. Clear meridians

  5. Supplement all shortages

  6. Balance hormone system

  7. Fulfil basic needs

  8. Optimise Chakras and Aura

  9. Clarify Mission

Always do all 9 steps in the order above.

If you’re currently experiencing serious health issues or are very sensitive to treatments, begin slowly and safely: only perform steps 5 and 7 for 2 weeks. After that, you can start doing all 9 steps.

Doing the MIR-Method®

It takes only 2 x 2 minutes a day. Watch the free instruction video below, and keep going for at least 4 weeks.

Don't believe in it, just do it. Mireille says:

"It's not necessary to believe in it. The laws of nature involved in the MIR-Method® work for everyone. It differs from one person to another how much you notice its effects. You can only really evaluate what the MIR-Method® has done for you after 4 months."

MIR-Method® Coaching with Cinthia Selenia UK

The MIR-Method® is simple to do on your own, but some people like company on the journey. I'm trained in the MIR-Method® by Mireille Mettes and offer 1:1 sessions to support you with it. Coaches are specifically trained to guide people who are experiencing challenges with emotional, mental or physical issues and clients have found that results are often quicker and more effective after a consultation.

Or maybe you are just starting out, want help staying with it, or aren't sure how it's going. Together we look at where in the nine steps you're feeling stuck and how best to work with them.
